Charge sales tax on camp registrations — automatically.

Set your rate, let parents see it itemized at checkout, and pull a remittance report when it's time to file. The tax stays with your club; Picklebeast charges nothing on it.

One toggle, every camp.

Set a club-wide default rate and override it per camp if a particular camp sits in a different jurisdiction. Turn it on with a one-time responsibility acknowledgment — Picklebeast doesn't file or remit your taxes; you do.

Club default + per-camp override

One default rate covers most clubs. Each camp can override it; entering 0 marks that camp untaxed.

Itemized at checkout

Parents see Tuition, Sales tax (X%), and Total in the embed widget and the in-app PaymentSheet. No surprises.

Remittance report + CSV

Date range, by camp: gross collected, refunded, net owed. Export to CSV for filing.

What a parent sees at checkout

The tax line only appears when there's tax to collect — a 0% camp shows no line and no behavior change.

Summer Skills Camp — Emma$299.00
Extended care add-on$50.00
Sales tax (7.25%)$25.30
Total$374.30

How it works under the hood

1

Parent pays

The tax-inclusive total goes through Stripe Connect into your club's account.

2

Tax stays with you

Picklebeast takes zero on the tax — only the camp's platform fee, computed on the pre-tax tuition.

3

Refunds keep their math

Partial or full refund? The proportional tax goes back to the parent automatically — no manual splitting.

4

Filing time

Open the Sales Tax report, pick a date range, export CSV. The net figure is exactly what you owe.

Built to stay out of the way

Off by default for every club. Turn it on when you're ready, acknowledge once, set the rate, done. Existing camps and registrations aren't retroactively taxed — only new registrations.
