Sign the whole family up for several weeks at once
A parent picks the weeks they want and the family members going, and pays for the whole basket in one charge.
The problem this solves
If your club runs a clinic or class series that sells more than one week, a parent could only ever register one person for one week at a time. Two children across four Thursdays meant eight trips through checkout and eight separate charges. Most parents gave up part-way, and the club lost the rest of the booking.
What a parent does now
- Opens the series and chooses to select sessions rather than a single date
- Ticks the weeks they want, and ticks each family member going, including themselves
- Sees one total covering everyone for every week, and pays once
All or nothing, on purpose
If any single week cannot seat everyone in the basket, the whole booking is refused and the message names the week that is short, so the parent can untick it and continue. Quietly dropping that week would mean charging them for something smaller than the total they approved, which is the failure this rule exists to prevent.
Eligibility works the same way. If one person cannot attend one of the weeks, it says who, rather than signing up everyone else and leaving that person out without mentioning it.
Only the family they actually have
A parent can add the family members on their own account, plus themselves. They cannot add someone else's child, or another adult they do not manage, and there is no way to reach one by guessing.
If a payment does not go through
A card that declines part-way can leave some weeks already held. The next attempt names those dates and tells the parent to finish that payment or ask you to cancel it. It never tells them they are already registered and leaves them with nowhere to go, and it never charges them for the older, smaller basket instead of the one on their screen.
Refunds
Cancel a night, or cancel the series, and a family basket refunds exactly the way an individual registration does. The money goes back to the card that paid it.
Limits
- Up to 25 people, up to 52 weeks, and 200 spots in total per basket
- Future sessions only, a week that has already happened cannot be added
- Ordinary single-person registration is completely unchanged
