Never let a member lapse by accident
Keep memberships going automatically. When a member's term ends, the card on file is charged and their membership continues, so nobody slips through the cracks and you never re-enroll anyone by hand.
How it works
Set it up when you add a member
In Members, Add member, charge the member's card and turn on Auto-renew. Members can also choose it at checkout, and can uncheck it or cancel anytime.
Charged on the renewal date, not today
Nothing extra is charged the day you turn it on. The current paid term is honored in full, and the first automatic charge lands on the member's renewal date.
The member is told, and can cancel
Every member is emailed a confirmation with their renewal date, the amount, and how to cancel. They can turn auto-renewal off any time from their portal and keep benefits through the term they already paid for.
For members without a card on file
- They see an "Add a card to keep your membership" banner in their member portal.
- You can email them a secure link to add a card, and saving a card never charges them.
- As soon as they add a card, their renewal is set up automatically.
Good to know
- Works for monthly and annual memberships.
- Requires a connected Stripe account (memberships already run through Stripe).
- Members billed another way, Shared Plan seats, sponsored members, and kids on a parent's card, keep their own billing and are never enrolled twice.
