Your pickleball identity, wherever you play.

One shareable URL — your Player Hub — where fans, friends, and opponents can follow you, see your stats, react to your wins, and message you directly. Built for players, gated by privacy you control.

NEW · v2

A premium athlete profile, redesigned.

Inspired by Strava's athlete page and dialed in for pickleball. Every Player Hub now opens with a brand-color hero, a tenure tag, and a four-stat strip you'll recognize from the apps that respect their athletes.

"Member since" tenure tag

Subscribers carry a gold "Pro since 2024" stamp; everyone else gets "Member since YYYY". Earned legitimacy at a glance.

12-week trend chart

Toggle between DUPR rating, games per week, and win rate — all precomputed so the toggle is instant. Forward-filled DUPR snapshots so the line never goes blank.

This-week pulse

Filterable trio: Games / Wins / Win Rate over the trailing 7 days. Pills for All / Tournament / League — local toggles, no extra network calls.

Frequent partners

The teammates you play with most, ranked by real match co-occurrence — not just rosters you happened to share.

Mutual friends, surfaced

Tap MUTUAL on any profile to see who you both know — avatars, names, paginated full list. Context that turns a stranger into a connection.

Moments strip

A horizontal scroll of recent award media — the trophy moments your friends sent you, in their full visual glory. A gallery view when you tap All media.

What's on your hub

Your Player Hub is the central place every Picklebeast player can be found. One URL on web, one screen on mobile. Active players go public by default; minors and inactive accounts stay private until they explicitly opt in.

Career stats

Match count, wins/losses, win-rate, current streak, partner count, tournament + league count, and "member since" — all auto-computed from real match data.

Activity feed

Every match, badge, award, registration, streak milestone, and club join — chronological, with kudos-style reactions (🔥 👏 🏆 💎) and threaded comments from anyone who follows you.

Persisted DUPR rating-history

A real chart of how your DUPR singles + doubles ratings have evolved over time. Auto-captured every time DUPR syncs your ratings — never a single point on a chart again.

Stats deep-dive

Format breakdown, top partners, top opponents, day-of-week heat map, and head-to-head record against any logged-in viewer.

Privacy you control

Three visibility levels — public, friends-only, private — apply across every surface: your profile page, your activity feed, your stats tab, and even discovery suggestions. Block someone and they vanish from your reach in every direction.

  • Block is a hard wall. A blocked viewer gets a 404 on your profile, can't follow you, can't DM you, and never sees you in suggestions, search, or leaderboard widgets.
  • Visibility-aware everywhere. Friends-only? Strangers see your name only. Private? They see nothing — not your profile, not your activity, not your stats, not your comments.
  • Minors auto-private by default. Profile hidden, DMs limited to friends only, name shown as first + last initial — never full name on public surfaces.
  • Direct messages with a Requests inbox. Strangers' first DMs land in Requests, not your main inbox. Accept to see them; decline silently to make them disappear.

Verified players

Pros, sponsored players, and elite tournament competitors carry a verified badge next to their name on every surface — web profile, mobile profile, embed widget, leaderboard widget. The badge is staff-set; clubs can't grant their own. It tells fans "this is the real Sarah Jenkins, not a lookalike account."

One-line embed for your club website

Drop a "follow Sarah" widget on your club's external site. Single iframe, public, anonymous, instant. The widget shows the player's avatar, name, verified badge, follower count, and a Follow button that opens the canonical profile to capture the follow. Works on any site — no integration required.

<iframe src="https://www.picklebeastpickleball.com/embed/players/sarahj/follow"
        width="380" height="140"
        frameborder="0" scrolling="no"
        title="Follow Sarah Jenkins on Picklebeast"
        loading="lazy"></iframe>

Built for the social side of competitive pickleball

Followers, not friends

One-directional follow — like Instagram. Fans don't need an account to follow; they can give an email and get notified when you play. Opt-in subscribe form on every public profile.

Reactions on every event

Tap a fire 🔥, clap 👏, trophy 🏆, or gem 💎 on someone's match win. One reaction per person per event — switch by tapping a different one. 200/day rate limit.

Threaded comments

Comment on activity events. Replies are 1-level — clean conversation, no nested-tree noise. Block-aware on the parent comment author so harassment chains don't form.

Direct messages

One-on-one messaging built on the existing Conversation system. Strangers' first DM lands in Requests; accept once, normal thread thereafter. Rate-limited, content-moderated.

Ready when you are.

Player Hub is rolling out gradually — first to staff, then to your club, then to everyone. No sign-up needed; if you're an active Picklebeast player, your hub is already waiting.
