Shape the Revenue Report with your own categories

Your event types stay as detailed as your members need. The report reads the way you think about the business.

Two jobs, two structures

Event types drive what members see when they browse, so detail helps there: Junior Clinic A, Junior Clinic B, Rating Clinic. A revenue report is a different job, and Revenue Categories lets you decide its structure yourself: sections and lines you create, rename, and reorganize, with each event type choosing the line its money lands on.

  • Your club starts with the exact structure the report has always shown, so nothing changes until you change it.
  • Merge three clinic types into one Clinics row in about two minutes.
  • Every row still expands into the member and non-member split, divided adult and junior.
  • Find it under Reports, or press Command K and type "revenue categories".

Nothing ever goes missing

Money follows the line, not the name, so renaming is free. Deleting a line that event types still use asks where those types go first. Anything with no home yet shows under "Not yet categorized" at the bottom of the report, never dropped, so the total is always the whole truth.

Membership, counted in people

The membership section lists each tier and each add-on pass on its own line, with the number of people charged in the period, so $24,000 of membership reads as the people behind it.

Who can change it

Reorganizing categories changes what every revenue report says, so editing is its own permission, granted to owners by default. Reading the report still only needs View Reports.
