The signed record pins a SHA-256 of the exact PDF signed — verifiable forever; re-uploading a new version prompts affected members to re-sign

Prefer to write a simple waiver in the editor? Unchanged — the upload is just a second option on the same screen

A document still converting can't be signed until ready (fail-closed); free on every plan; off by default (feature-flagged)
